hi! Thanks for ur comment! I wouldn't say I'm fluent but i've been studying Japanese in and out of school for a few years and it's a hobby of mine I'd be glad to answer any questions u have!
okay, well i have a really random question. haha, feel free to laugh, and it's okay if you don't know, but i was wondering what the word for 'bobblehead' is. (just to clarify, those figurines). i'm pretty positive that the free translations online aren't right... soo i was curious, but since your not japanese, you might not know the equivalent of bobble head .
Hmmm...that's an interesting question LOL Because it's a foreign word, it's written in katakana. It's basically written "boburuheddo" ボブルヘッドor ボブルヘッドフィギュア(boburuheddo figyua) Lots of English words are used in Japanese, but only sound a bit different. However, lots of people often just write "bobblehead" in English even if the rest is in Japanese. フィギュア (figyua) is also used sometimes, but that's not just bobbleheads. Hope this help!
(you see i'm trying to self teach myself japanese, i've been doing it for maybe a month and a bit just for fun you know? my studying habits have been kind of on and off, but i think i almost got hiragana down. but when it comes to the kanji i have no clue how to read it. )
